Education remains top priority
More than 2 million students across the country have benefited from the government's tuition fee subsidy.
This was highlighted by Prime Minister James Marape when presenting the government's 7th performance report to parliament , on Friday.
Mr Marape says education and health remains priority for the Marape - Rosso Government.
Education is the most powerful investment a government can make because it is the multiplier of all other development interventions.
Prime Minister Marape when delivering his performance report from 2019 to 2025 , told the House , that more than 2.5 million students are now benefiting from the government's tuition fee free subsidy.
That's about K877 million.
Marape says the government has also extended its support to the tertiary institutions and colleges through the Higher Education Loan Program or HELP.
Apart from this, the government is also supporting quality education infrastructure that includes school classrooms, laboratories, libraries, teachers housing, and development.
