Trukai Industries is supporting cultural groups, horse riders, bikers, security guards and other participants at this weekend’s Morobe Provincial Agricultural Show through its continued sponsorship of the annual event.

The company’s latest contribution includes 200 bags of rice, 200 bags of flour and merchandise, following an earlier K133,100 cheque presentation to the Morobe Show Committee.

Trukai National Sales and Marketing Manager Heral Buksh said the company had maintained its partnership with the show for 40 years and thanked the committee for recognising its continued support.

“This is a partnership we have carried for the last 40 years. We thank the committee for recognising us,” Buksh said.

Trukai has been recognised as Reserve Grand Champion Sponsor this year, after receiving Blue Ribbon Champion Sponsor recognition last year.

The Morobe Provincial Agricultural Show brings together farmers, agricultural exhibitors, businesses and communities to showcase agricultural products, livestock and cultural traditions.

The show will be held at the Lae Showgrounds on October 24 and 25.
