Busu Secondary School receives aid from Australian Government
More than 1600 students will benefit from new learning materials donated by the Australian Government.
Busu Secondary School was privileged with the new materials, which will help them improve their knowledge.
Principal Mr George Noble acknowledged the continued support by the Australian Consulate, Brenton Kanowsky, notably from his prior visitations to school and to the distribution of the new materials.
Noble said, " we appreciate your generous support to the school and we want this partnership to continue."
Noble added," as you know, we were robbed of our computers in the laboratory and security is still pur great concern. And so I am just making a follow up to a submission to assist with fencing."
Noble appreciated the donation, because the school was struggling, to recoup all that were lost during the time of the break and entry.
Australian Consulate Brenton Kanowsky being aware of the recent break and entry of the school, has been in touch with the school principal for a couple of months before delivering the materials.
Kanowsky said, " I am happy to make this presentation to the school. I believe, these materials will benefit all the students to aid your education and enable you to be in a better position to guide you in your careers in the future."
The materials are delivered to the school, courtesy of their government partner, Lighthouse international.
Kanowsky also made a commitment to purchase a new camera for the school, to replace the last that was stolen with the other computer items in the laboratory.
