Two-time Governor and longtime Milne Bay businessman Sir John Luke Crittin passed away at his home in Alotau just past lunchtime on Tuesday.

Milne Bays Provincial Assembly set to pass their Provincial Budget, had to suspend proceedings for all members to pay respects to Sir John still in lying at his Nako home.

Current Governor Gordon Henry Wesley who considered Sir John a father, was there to receive them.

Sir John was 81years old and had settled in Milne Bay in the 1970s, starting up Kiwali Exports under Nako Fisheries Ltd, the biggest bech-de-mer exporter in country.
