State sponsored terrorism has been described as one of the biggest problems faced in the country.

Wabag MP Dr Lino Tom, when debating the Counter-terrorism Bill passed yesterday in Parliament, says it's about time the bill was brought to the floor.

He alleged that while all members are acting like innocent people some are very much involved in state sponsored terrorism.

Dr. Tom says the Government is bringing all sorts of laws but not enforcing them.

The Counter Terrorism Bill was passed by an absolute majority of 84 votes to nil, and is aimed at combatting acts of terrorism.

It repeals the Internal Security Act of 1993.
