Three new JICA volunteers arrive in Milne Bay
Three new JICA volunteers have arrived in Alotau, bringing to total six current serving within Milne Bay.
And by the year’s, this number is likely to increase.
The new ones include Masanari Kanzaki, an occupational therapist now attached to the Physiotherapy Dept of the Milne Bay Health Authority.
Yamagishi who joins Cameron Secondary School as a Mathematics teacher.
And Shunichi NISHIGAKI joins the Milne Bay Tourism Bureau.
They will assist Milne Bay in these areas over the next two years.
JICA confirms there’s
The JICA Volunteer Program targeting economic and social development, deepen mutual understanding in cross cultural societies and to give back experience for their volunteers has been in Papua New Guinea since the 1980s.
The strategy for Alotau now is strengthening human resource development to support PNG industries via improvement in Education and teaching methods through these JICA volunteers.
