Nurses awards plan confirmed

The much talked about Papua New Guinea Nurses Association (PNGNA) awards for 2025 to 2027, will finally be paid, starting from June to July of 2026.

PNG Nurses Association President, Frederick Kebai, revealed this when giving an update on the agreement, reached between the association, and all the implementing government agencies recently.

Mr. Kebai said that they will be verifying the member accounts, doing their calculations and updating their records between the 31st of March 2026, to the 31st of April 2026, before making the first payment in June.

He said this when recalling the proposed nationwide Sit In Protest, beginning on the 01st of April, 2026, after a month of negotiations.
