Easipay vending outage: system engineers working to restore service

PNG Power Limited has advised all customers that the Easipay vending system is temporarily unavailable nationwide.

This outage is due to a technical issue affecting the central Easipay system which is responsible for generating all electricity tokens for every payment channel.

The State-owned power company, further says all its customers are affected equally on all these payment channels, but reassures that no customer will lose their money.

This means all tokens can be retrieved once the system is restored, so all those who have paid without receiving their tokens, must keep their meter number, the paid amount and the payment method as the call center will assist them once the vending system is back online.

PNG Power acknowledges the inconvenience, and again reassure they are working to restore the Easipay vending.
