Tewae Siassi prioritizes health
The Tewae Siassi District Development Authority [TSDDA] has procured medical supplies to support healthcare services across the district.
Under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Kobby Bomareo, the authority purchased medicines for six key health facilities, Etep Rural Hospital and Wasu Health Centre in Wasu, Semo Health Center, Lablab Health Cente in Siassi, Sialum Health Center and Kalasa Health Center in Sialum.
K200,000.00 Payment for the supplies have already been completed, with arrangements in place to ensure that medicines are delivered to each facility every six months.
Teawae Siassi MP Kobby Bomoreo said, "The initiative aims to strengthen healthcare delivery and improve access to essential medicines for communities throughout the district."
Bomoreo added, "the DDA is supporting its health centers until the health departments step in to do its work."
This supply was purchased in January and is for use untill June, when the facilities can collect second supply for 2026.
