Milne Bay ready for the LLG elections
Milne Bay's Provincial Election Manager Dadu Daga says Milne Bay is ready to go into the Polling starts this Monday.
In fact, he reports polling material were shipped out three weeks ago to be extra safe the province starts on time.
Daga reports all polling teams will be deployed today from their respective LLG headquarters to their first polling site on Sunday, ready for the polling start on Monday.
He confirms all polling material including fuel was shipped out two to three weeks ago to be on the safe side given the great sea mass the province has.
Polling official's refresher and training were conducted last week, and so there have been no issues reported by assistant returning officers.
Milne Bay will these elections, see the inclusion of two new LLGs out of the Esa'ala District, including E'yagu and Oyatabu, that's 18 LLGs from the previous 16.
Daga is urging all citizens to use the opportunity to make their vote count, setting in place a government that will serve their best interest for the next term.
