Ling-Stuckey: PNG debt at K65 billion

Treasurer Ian Ling-Stuckey told Parliament today, the country’s debt stock is projected to sit at K65 billion-kina, by the end of this year.
He added this debt will peak at K66b illion next year, with assurances of a surplus budget by 2027 - aimed at repaying this debt.
Mr. Ling-Stuckey says the country’s debt to GDP or its ability to repay its debts against the backdrop of what it produces, continues to decrease:
