A strong warning has been given by the Enga Provincial Police Commander Chief Superintendent Fred Yakasa to candidates and supporters who were responsible for the removal of the 2 bridges in Mulitaka that they will be dealt with accordingly.

In a statement, Yakasa says the destruction of vital infrastructure like roads and bridges are crimes against the state and has condemned it in the strongest terms.

He adds that those responsible are known and a manhunt will begin in the next few days to have them arrested once the polling for the Pogera Paela Open by election is complete.

There has been no movement of people and trucks in the last few days as prices of goods in Pogera are getting higher each day.
