Candidates in the Local Level Government election race out of Milne Bay have joined others in sounding concerns the setback to polling was uncalled for, unconstitutional and one of the longest election timelines they've seen.

Long time council President and current Deputy Governor for Milne Bay Lelena Metoa was one who came forward to air this grievance this week.

He questioned the lack of transparency and keeping to schedule, suggesting it was a hassle for those contesting for important seats that need to be filled for government.
