After a year of harvesting the terrible and negative results of tribal fight, the people of Kagazo and Keneeza clans of the Fayentina LLG in the Henganofi District of Eastern Highlands Province finally laid that hostility to rest

The two warring tribes fought for a year over sorcery accusations.

The conflict has claimed six lives and properties and destroyed food gardens.

The signing of this peace agreement in Goroka marks an essential time in uniting the community.

Families and relatives of those killed from either side came out and publicly reconciled for what had happened.

The Member for Henganofi, Robert Atiyafa who is the Chairman of the good and order Committee led the reconciliation team to restore peace in the community after a year of separation between the two tribes.
