A warrant of arrest has been issued for NiuSky Pacific Limited’s Acting Managing Director Graham Blythe and Board Chairman Robin Kawat, following multiple failed attempts by police to question them over a K2.4 million scandal involving unauthorized security arrangements.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police and NCD/Central Commander Benjamin Turi, both men have evaded police efforts to bring them in for questioning over alleged payments made to 23 regular police officers and 13 police impersonators between 2023 and 2024.

“The warrant of arrest is already out, and we expect both men to comply and come forward to police, or we will use force to bring them in,” Turi told NBC News.

Police allege that the two NiuSky executives authorized payments to these individuals for providing security services to the state-owned air navigation service provider without legal clearance or proper engagement procedures.

In a serious development, Immigration and Citizenship Authority has been notified to prevent Graham Blythe from leaving the country. ACP Turi warned that any attempt by Blythe to travel will result in immediate arrest.

“You should not be evading police if you haven’t done anything wrong; simply come forward and allow police to interview and carry out investigations into these allegations,” Turi said.

Arrests for the remaining suspects are currently being arranged.

Turi also issued a strong warning to police officers involved in the investigation to remain vigilant, revealing reports of attempted interference through gifts and bribes by individuals connected to the case.

The case marks one of the most serious public allegations in recent times involving corporate misconduct, abuse of state resources, and criminal impersonation.

Police investigations are ongoing.
