Puma Energy reopens service station in Madang

Puma Energy has re- opened one of its service stations in Madang Town after almost a year of being closed.
The fuel station, situated in Madang's CBD, was previously run by Fox Fuel Limited, a local fuel distributor, until it ceased operations last year.
Victory No. 8 Limited or V8, a Port Moresby- based company has now taken over the facility, which was reopened to customers on Thursday.
Shirely Perido, Retail Operations Manager with FoneHaus, V8's sister company, said they feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the vibrant community of Papua New Guinea.
"Our journey started back in October 2016 when we opened our first Puma Energy service station in Konedobu, and it's been a rewarding experience since then.
"We've had the privilege of growing steadily, thanks in large to the support and trust of our customers and the partnerships we’ve formed along the way." she said.
Today, V8 runs a network of Puma Service Stations in places like Konedobu, Lawes Road, Uni Hill, and Waigani. The company has also branched out to Lae, with the recent opening of the Eriku Service Station with focus on delivering convenience and quality service to everyone who walks through its doors.
In addition to the fuel services here in Madang, the company is also opening a convenience store to make the experience for its customers even better.
"With a growing team of dedicated individuals, we recognise that our work extends beyond just business. We aim to create job opportunities and contribute positively to the families and communities we serve throughout Papua New Guinea.
"As we continue our journey, our focus remains on supporting our community and providing the best service we can through our fuel stations,"Ms. Perido added.
