Students attending a private run school in Mt Hagen have contributed basic necessities to the provincial appeal towards the victims of the Mulitaka Disaster Landslip in Enga Province.

The Highlands Christian Grammar school on Friday presented bags of clothes and food to the Western Highlands Provincial Disaster Committee.

The school said basing upon their principle of sharing God's love to others, the gesture shown by them is of such and is given by their hearts and thoughts.

Western Highlands Provincial Disaster Coordinator and member of the Provincial Disaster Committee Pius Karr thanked the school and said it is good to see children giving at an early age.

He stressed some of the goods brought in by the school will also be distributed to people also affected by natural disaster in the province, earlier this year like the Dei landslip that killed three people and also the Tambul landslip that killed four people.
