The Revival Centre of Papua New Guinea (RCPNG) has marked 40 years of Christian ministry in East Sepik Province, commemorating four decades since the church was founded on November 1, 1986.

The four-day anniversary celebration commenced on Thursday, October 29, and concluded on Sunday, November 1, 2026, bringing together thousands of church members, pastors, leaders and invited guests to commemorate the historic milestone.

According to the RCPNG 40th Anniversary Programme Organising Committee, a total of 10,891 church members attended the celebration, including more than 200 pastors and church leaders.

The anniversary also recorded 374 new members who were baptised and officially joined the Revival Centre of Papua New Guinea, marking another milestone in the church's continued growth.

Meanwhile, Momase Regional Pastor Collen Solmen acknowledged the pioneers of the RCPNG Wewak Assembly and all those who contributed to making the four-day anniversary celebration a success.

The church's Founder and Principal Pastor, Godfrey Wippon, encouraged members and leaders to remain committed to their Christian calling and continue spreading the Gospel.

He said, "Keep the Gospel moving, keep going, continue on with the work the Lord has placed in your heart and in your mind."

Pastor Wippon officially closed the 40th anniversary programme with the cutting of the anniversary cake, symbolising four decades of the Revival Centre's establishment and ministry in East Sepik Province.

Since its establishment in 1986, the church has continued its ministry and strengthening the faith of its members and spreading the Gospel among communities across the province.
