Pangu Party convention expo
The Pangu Party Convention Expo opened at the Hilton Hotel in Port Moresby today [Wednesday] as part of the Party’s Convention, which runs until Friday.
Minister for Works and Highways and Regional Member for Bougainville, Peter Tsiamalili Jnr, officially opened the Expo.
Speaking at the opening, Minister Tsiamalili said the Expo showcases the Government’s achievements over the past seven years under the Pangu Party.
As the Party’s Regional Member for Bougainville, he said government policies have played a key role in driving the Party’s vision for the country.
He said the Government’s vision is a long-term plan that cannot be achieved overnight but requires commitment and time.
Minister Tsiamalili highlighted the Connect PNG programme as one of the country’s biggest transformational projects, delivering long-term benefits through a structured approach.
“The dream that we have is not owned by us leaders, but collectively owned by all of us.” He said.
He encouraged students and other visitors to take ownership of the Government’s vision and contribute to nation-building in their own way.
Students from the University of Papua New Guinea, IBS University and selected schools in the National Capital District attended the Expo.
Pangu Party branches from NCD and Motu Koita also participated.
One of the highlights of the event was the interaction between young people and Pangu Party MPs.
The Expo continues tomorrow and will be open to party delegates from across the country attending the Convention. Delegates will have the opportunity to learn more about government projects and services being delivered in their provinces.
The Pangu Party Convention will conclude on Friday.
