A golden point field goal by Garrett O' Brien helped the Adrian Lam- coached Leigh Leopards to secure their second win in the Super League (21-20).

In front of their home fans at the Leigh Sports Village, the Leopards knew it was a must win against Toulouse and wasted no time starting off strongly the first half.

Leopard's winger Josh Charnley crossed over for a double, Innes Senior scored one and PNG Kumul Liam Horne also got his first try for the Leopards from a Lachlan Lam assist and the Leopards led 20-6 at the break.

The second stanza was dominated by the French side with a much-improved performance in two converted tries and a penalty which saw them level the score right on the 80-minute mark.

With the game in the balance, Garrett O'Brien stood up as the hero for Leigh with a golden point field goal that got the Leopards home in the end.

Leopards Coach Adrian Lam was grateful they got the win in the end.

"I'm grateful that during the most difficult moment we found a way to hang in there and get that point in the end, it was a much-needed win," Lam said.
