Ministers on notice as cabinet and departmental heads set for review
Prime Minister James Marape has instructed all ministers and department heads to submit reports on their 2025 achievements by January 7, along with medical certificates confirming their fitness to serve.
Speaking at a media conference on Wednesday, Mr Marape hinted that a ministerial reshuffle and several new appointments could happen next year as the government gears up for 2026 - the final year of the current parliamentary team.
He explained that the potential changes are meant to assess ministers’ performance and ensure their work aligns with government priorities.
