Online exam results go live as La Salle tops nation
Grade 10 and Grade 12 students across Papua New Guinea can now instantly access their national examination results online, in a major shift towards digital education services, as La Salle Technical Secondary School emerged as the country’s top-performing government-run school.
The Ministry of Education officially launched the 2025 national examination results in Port Moresby today, enabling students to check their results through the My Exam Results online platform.
Education Minister Lucas Dawa Dekena said the move to online access was part of government efforts to improve transparency, efficiency and accessibility of key education services.
He said the results reflect the hard work and discipline of students, despite challenges faced during the examination period.
During the launch, Education Secretary Dr Uke Kombra announced that La Salle Technical Secondary School in the National Capital District ranked first in both Grade 10 and Grade 12 examinations nationwide in system schools.
La Salle Principal, Brother Anthony Samy Pancras, said the achievement was the result of strong academic discipline and consistent effort from both students and teachers.
He said the school had now topped the national rankings for the second consecutive year, after also securing the top position in the Grade 10 examinations last year.
Brother Anthony thanked teachers, students and parents for their commitment and support, saying their combined efforts had contributed to the school’s continued academic success.
