Temu slams government for blocking debate on long-delayed elections report

Abau MP Sir Puka Temu reminded the house, that Parliamentary standing orders have Thursdays as private business days, for these matters to be discussed.

He claims that Government uses its numerical strengthen to abuse these orders.

Sir Puka referred the house to notice paper 65, given two years ago by the late Morobe provincial MP Luther Wenge, on elections - calling for this paper to be debated and adopted:

The notice paper is on the Special parliamentary committee on 2022 General elections - Interim report - paper and statement was to be debated on from 5th October 2023.
