Milne Bay leads Southern Region with early return of LLG writs

Milne Bay's Election Manager Dadu Daga confirms Milne Bay has concluded counting for all its Local Level Governments and the Writs, returned today.

Daga, who left with the Writs for Port Moresby today, says it was a smooth LLG Elections delivery for Milne Bay, all its 18 LLGs and 410 wards reporting successful declarations, counting wrap-up was over the weekend.

Daga says they've furnished all information the same of elected Presidents and ward councilors to the Office of Governor and Cabinet Secretary who will now be responsible for swearing in ceremonies.

At least four LLG Presidents have retained their seats in the likes of Matthew Magioudi, West Fergusson LLG, Royroy Kaitolele- Goodenough LLG, Bernard Jack- Yeleyamba LLG, and Lelena Metoa- Huhu LLG, the rest of 12 are new on the scene.

Milne Bay is supposedly the first of the southern region to Return its Writs.
