Parramatta and New South Wales star Mitchell Moses has been injected into the Prime Minister's XIII team and arrives in Port Moresby today to join the rest of the team who arrived yesterday.

Moses was rushed into the side by Australian Coach Kevin Walters after Brad Schneider and Nick Meany were ruled out due to injury.

Australian Coach Kevin Walters confirmed this when responding to questions by the media yesterday.

Walters also responded to questions on Xavier Coates and hinted that he won't be available for the Kangaroos in the upcoming Ashes against England, but they will consider him for Australia in the Rugby League World Cup next year.

PNG Coach Jason Demetriou mentioned last year that they will be looking to get Coates to play for PNG in the World Cup next year, but with the current Storm flyer at the top of his game in recent times, the Australians will likely select him, unless he chooses PNG over Australia, following the footsteps of what Kumul great Adrian Lam did in the 1990s.
