Hunters dominate Brothers to secure second straight CRU championship

From the opening whistle, the Hunters demonstrated their intent. With precise passing, aggressive tackling, and a well-drilled offense, they surged ahead to take a 7-0 lead by halftime. The Apec Brothers, seasoned veterans known for their resilience, struggled to break through the Hunters’ disciplined defense.

Coach Frank Genia, earlier during the week reflected on the team’s 2025 season, saying last year’s grand final victory set the tone for their surge into big dance.

For the Apec Brothers, this grand final marked their ninth consecutive appearance, showcasing remarkable consistency, even if victory eluded them this year.
