South Pacific Brewery [SP Brewery] has thrown its support behind Madang’s premier cultural event, announcing a K10,000 sponsorship for the Bogia Show, which runs from 14 to 16 September at Bogia Station.
The contribution underscores the company’s commitment to preserving and celebrating Papua New Guinea’s diverse cultural heritage while strengthening community ties.
SP Brewery representative Meiva Lalatute said the sponsorship reflects the company’s vision of fostering unity through culture.
“SP Brewery is proud to back this show as it aligns with our core purpose of fostering the joy of true togetherness. Supporting the communities that support us is a meaningful way to give back, and the Bogia Show provides a perfect platform to showcase our cultural diversity,” she said.
Lalatute praised the Bogia Show Committee for its dedication, adding that such community-driven events play a vital role in keeping traditions alive for future generations.
With this backing, the Bogia Show is set to stage an even bigger celebration this year, bringing together thousands of people to witness traditional performances, dances, and displays of cultural pride.
SP Brewery reaffirmed that cultural events remain a priority in its corporate social responsibility drive, promising continued support for initiatives that unite and empower communities across Papua New Guinea.
