Kerowagi MP keen to deliver

Local member for Kerowagi, Francis Kikin Siune has assured the people that he will continue to deliver the much needed services.
In a peace reconciliation ceremony of Gena tribe yesterday, Mr. Suine said despite limited resources, Kerowagi district has made a significant stride in service delivery in key sectors including health, education and infrastructure.
He said Kerowagi District Development Authority [KDDA] will remain focused on driving vital government services throughout the electorate within the next remaining years until 2027 under the theme 'Leaving no Kerowagi behind'.
"Apart from other priority areas, we will invest a lot in education because education is valuable and worthwhile for an individual, family, community, and country," he said.
The local MP said last year they supported one thousand students with K2500.00 each, and this year, they set aside K1.3 million for school fee alone.
Meanwhile Mr. Suine said for students to be eligible for next year school fee assistance, he want to see each student plant 350 coffee trees.
"This is to boost coffee as a cash crop in the district and to create wealth for the community," he said.
