Minister for Information and Communication and Technology [ICT], Timothy Masiu, has refuted claims on social media that the suspension of FM100 employee Culligan Tanda involves him and the board of the National Broadcasting Corporation.

He clarified that FM100 has its Board under Telikom PNG Limited as a State Owned Enterprise which comes under the Ministry of his colleague minister, William Duma.

"While the suspension of any officer at any level is regrettable, I am confident the leadership at Telikom PNG Limited and FM 100 will adequately address this situation at their level", Minister Masiu said.

Minister Masiu went on to further say, "My ministerial responsibility covers the National Broadcasting Corporation, and FM 100 is not part of NBC as wrongfully claimed on social media.

He says as the head of the largest media organisation in the country, he ensures NBC maintains its editorial policy.
