NBC scoops 4 awards

The National Broadcasting Corporation [NBC] took home four major awards last night at the PNG Media Awards, a prestigious event organized by the PNG Media Council to recognize the outstanding efforts of media professionals across the country.

NBC journalists from both the provincial stations and headquarters were among those honored for their excellence in journalism and broadcasting.

Emmanuel Eralia of NBC Enga received the Best Provincial Journalist award for his impactful coverage of the Mulitaka landslide. Best TV Presenter went to Jerry Tave, while NBC Bougainville's Calvin Kasper was awarded for Innovative Reporting. The Best TV Program award was presented to Jacklyn Kanabudi for her popular agriculture-focused show, Tok Didiman, aired on NBC TV.

NBC’s Deputy Managing Director, Michael Samuga, thanked the journalists for their dedication and hard work. He also encouraged all media personnel to aim even higher in the coming year.
