RCPNG church council meeting underway in Morobe

The Revival Centers of Papua New Guinea officially opened its weeklong event yesterday at Busu backroad Church Center in Lae Morobe Province.
This event is a bi-annual gathering for the Church leadership hierarchy, who are to meet and deliberate on the developments of the church and its impacts on communities.
During the opening ceremony pastors conference, the principal pastor and chairman of the conference, Godfrey Wippon, emphasized the mission of the church.
Wippon, " It has surely come to pass that the mission of the church is accomplished, but the gospel must continue to be preached to all ward levels and villages."
"People must be baptized with the Holy Spirit and must worship in spirit and in truth."
In that manner, our country will be saved by the nothing but truth."
Hosting congregation Pastor Mako Kisu acknowledged the presence of the principal pastor and chairman of the church council and the members who have gathered.
In an interview, Pastor Kisu said this is not Morobes' first time to host such an event, and he is honored. Lae is the center for Momase region and that,I am honored to be hosting the two events."
Kisu, I am privileged to have all of 22 Province representatives who are going to be with us this week."
As the hosting and provincial Pastor Kisu, he is confident in his preparedness towards the events; the church council meeting and the National Pastors conference will coincide this week in Lae Morobe Province
Kisu, " Morobe has hosted quite a number of big events of the church in the past, and so,we have prepared four months prior, but I humbly ask our fellow participants to come forward if there any needs arises during the week with regards to their welfare and so it can be addressed."
The church was established in 1982, with a lot of development, seeing its mission coming to pass, reaching, out to communities, and saving lives through the gospel of salvation.
