Nambawan Super Limited members will benefit from a K290 million business investment- a building opened today in Port Moresby.

The Moki Business Park is the outcome of a joint contribution effort of 228,000 plus members and Lamana Development Limited.

The commercial building strategically located in the heart of Waigani in Port Moresby is expected to return a significant revenue stream once it is fully tenanted.

"The money will go directly to our members," NSL chairman Reginald Monagi said during the opening ceremony this morning.

NSL invested an initial K130m into the development of the business house, contributing significantly to the local economy by creating employment during the construction phase.

It is expected to further create job opportunities through various tenants and the property management arm.

Mr Monagi said the investment reaffirms NSLs effort for its members retirement savings through returns from investments.

"With Nambawan Super as the majority shareholder, the project is also expected to generate long-term returns to our members nationwide," he said.

"It is clear that Nambawan Super plays a significant role in supporting our country's economic growth.

"Our primary mandate has always been to grow our members retirement savings through returns from investments.

"The Moki Business Park is an example of one of the many ways we have been meeting this mandate."

A senior inspector of the Correctional Service, Gorogo Momoru said this prestigious investment will add value to their membership.

She encouraged more of such developments in the future to benefit them as contributors.

"I'm pleased because it will bring some benefit back to the members who are contributors," she said.

"It will add on the interest that will be given back to the members. That's the whole purpose of Nambawan Super, investing more into this sort of buildings and others."
