More aid arrives for Mulitaka, this time it’s the French government

A French military aircraft has brought in more aid supplies this morning for Multika landslide victims.
The relief aid supplies contain basic food, water and shelter materials which can cater for around 500 families.
The humanitarian aid was flown in from the French Polynesia territory of Tahiti to Port Moresby at midday today and was received by the French ambassador to PNG Guillaume Lemoine at the APEC terminal.
Ambassador Guillaume Lemoine says his government and people of France have reached out to provide humanitarian aid to those affected by the massive landslide in Mulitaka, Enga and will stand ready to provide support to its partners in their time of need.
The French government and its people have been heaped praise by the PNG government through the acting chief of defence commodore Philip Polewar who was on hand to receive the aid donation.
The Relief supplies are expected to be flown up to Mt Hagen later today.
