Notice of Motion of No-Confidence in Prime Minister James Marape did not satisfy all requirements: Parliament Speaker

The Notice of Motion of No-Confidence in Prime Minister James Marape failed to meet all the requirements.
National Parliament Speaker Job Pomat revealed in the afternoon session of the house after the Private Business Committee deliberated on notice filed by the Opposition before parliament sat this morning.
Under Parliament's standing orders, members of the Private Business Committee only sit after lunch every Wednesday, if there is a motion of no-confidence to entertain.
Mr Pomat told Parliament, that out of the five requirements, the alternate government failed to meet the requirement of 12 members of parliament named and signed on the motion.
“As a requirement under Section 145 [1] [b] of Constitution the notice is signed and supported by the following Members of Parliament, including the mover and seconder of the motion being not less than one-tenth (10%) of the total number of seats in Parliament (118].”
Per the copy of the notice [picture insert], only 11 members of parliament signed the motion.

Mover of the motion was Opposition Leader Douglas Tomuriesa, and the seconder was West New Britain Provincial Member Sasindran Muthuvel, nominating Finschafen MP Rainbo Paita, as the alternative prime minister.
Sinasina – Yonggamulg MP Kerenga Kua hinted that the Opposition will file another notice of motion of no confidence against Prime Minister James Marape.
