The Papua New Guinea Law Society has come to the defense of a Madang law firm accused of garnishing the accounts of a District Development Authority [DDA].

Madang MP Bryan Kramer has called for amendments to the District Development Authority Act 2014, so as to prevent the execution of Garnishee orders without representation by district officers or a representative from the Department of Justice and Attorney General in court.
