The second season of Oceania’s first-ever professional football league kicks off on January 22, 2027 in Australia, with first circuit series hosting duties being shared between Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Defending champions Auckland FC will begin their title defense in an epic rematch of the 2026 final against South Melbourne FC on the opening Friday of the new campaign, after Vanuatu United and Solomon Kings FC play the first match of the 2027 campaign.

Circuit series 3 and 5 will also see joint hosts, with 3 being shared between New Zealand and Solomon Islands and 5 between Fiji and debut hosts Vanuatu.

The first New Zealand derby of the season will come in circuit series 3 in Aotearoa, as South Island United meet Auckland FC on Sunday, March 7, whilst the other two semi-finalists from 2026 – South Melbourne FC and Vanuatu United FC – will lock horns in the opening circuit series, on Thursday, January 28.

The second season of the OFC Pro League will build on the rivalries forged in the inaugural season, with new players, new coaches and new venues, ready to shape the next chapter of professional football in Oceania.

2027 will also see a new finals format, involving all eight clubs, kicking off on May 25 with the Play-offs, followed by the Quarter-finals on May 29, Semi-finals on June 2 and the final on Sunday, June 6.
Meanwhile Solomon Islands will host the final of the 2027 OFC Pro League season, with the full fixture list and host nations for the competition released today.

It follows on from scenes that saw Honiara’s National Stadium packed with passionate fans during its successful hosting of circuit series 4 of the inaugural season earlier this year.
