Daulo MP passes on

Member for Daulo, Ekime Mek Gorosahu passed on at Paradise Private Hospital in Port Moresby today.

United Resources Party leader William Duma confirmed the death of his party colleague, describing the news as devastating.

“It is true. Heartbreaking,” Duma told NBC News.

Details surrounding the cause of death have not yet been released by official sources or family representatives.

Gorosahu’s death brings the total number of MPs who have died during the 11th National Parliament to nine.

A first-term Member of Parliament, the late Gorosahu served on the Permanent Parliamentary Committee on Culture and Tourism.
