TISA Bank opens branch in Kavieng

Tisa Bank opened its doors to customers across New Ireland on Monday morning in Kavieng. The achievement is another addition to financial inclusion to better serve the populace in the province.

The bank's Board Chairman, Moses Koiri, says, "New Ireland is built on strong communities and hardworking people, and it’s important to provide this financial service to them."

“Our aim is simple. To be here for our people and make every day accessible and easier for our people,” Mr Koiri said.

In his keynote address, Governor Byron Chan welcomed the initiative and described it as a strong signal of economic growth in the province.

“Tisa Bank opening today [Monday] is a signal of great change and progress.” He said.

The Governor congratulated Tisa Bank, management, staff and members on the successful opening and expressed confidence that the bank would contribute positively to the economic development of the province and country.

Also present was Acting CEO Luke Kaul, Head of Retail Banking Noel Keyala and representatives from the New Ireland Provincial Government.
