Enga PHA CEO dismisses viral image

An AI-generated image falsely circulating on social media shows Enga Provincial Hospital on fire. Authorities have confirmed the image is fake and the hospital was not affected by any fire

An image generated through Artificial Intelligence which depicted the burning of several buildings at the New Enga Provincial Hospital has been condemned as misleading and NOT true.

NBC News confirmed with the EPHA CEO Dr. Vincent Pyakalyia this morning.

"The AI generated image circulating on social media is NOT true. People with ulterior motives must stop this kind of irresponsible and careless conduct aimed at causing confusion and leaving the public with anxiety,"Dr. Pyakalyia says.

Meanwhile, the general public in Enga and around the country have also been urged to be responsible in sharing information on social media without proper verification and credibility.
