12 women among 14 winners in Eliseo Christmas promotion final draw

Twelve women were among the 14 winners in the Eliseo Group’s 2025 Christmas Promotion Giveaway, with two lucky shoppers taking home the major prizes during the final draw held on Sunday at the company’s Rainbow branch in Port Moresby.

Jacinta Sohon from Rainbow and Mary Benika from Boroko each won a brand-new JMC ute, courtesy of PNG Motors and the Eliseo Group.

The final draw concluded the Christmas Promotion themed “Giving Back to the Community,” which began in December 2025 and ended on January 3, 2026. Entry receipts from all Eliseo outlets in Port Moresby including Boroko, Makana, Wagani and Rainbow, were pooled for the draw.

Eliseo Group Board Director Edward Egobia thanked customers for their continued support, saying the promotion would not be possible without them.

“You have seen all the boxes here today [on Sunday]. These entries come from Eliseo Boroko, Makana, Wagani and Rainbow. Everything has gone into one final draw,” Egobia said.

“This is our New Year gift to our customers. Everyone who shops at Eliseo is part of this giving back. Every December and January, we will continue to give back to the people.”

In addition to the two JMC utes, the draw produced three winners of 240-litre refrigerators, seven Vivo smartphones and two 65-inch LED televisions. Most winners were contacted during the draw.

The Eliseo Group says prizes valued at more than K1.2 million were given away during the 2025 Christmas Promotion. All 14 winners are expected to collect their prizes this week.
