Proposed IRC oversight board concerning

The proposed amendment to the Internal Revenue Commission Act, for the creation of an oversight board, has sparked serious concerns with the Permanent Parliamentary Committee on Plans and Estimates.

Chairman Joseph Yopyyopy reminded the Government that the IRC "is not another government agency - rather it is a constitutional state organization designed to be independent from political influences."
