Manolos Aviation yet to receive grade 8 exam papers for 140 rural schools in Morobe

The clock is ticking with 2 days and the remaining hours of today [Friday, 17th October], for the grade eight examination papers to be delivered to the 140 rural schools across Morobe Province.
The Education Department usually have the Lae based Manolos Aviation, to transport these examination papers however, as of today Manolos has confirmed that they are yet to receive the exam papers.
This delay is causing setbacks in the packaging and delivery process for Manolos Aviation, and the Manolos Aviation Chief Executive, Captain Jurgen Ruh, is now making a call to the Education Department, stating that the failure on their part shouldn't become an emergency for Manolos Aviation.
"To the National Department of Education, any dysfunction that you may have in your department, should not become our emergency. We are not going to risk our lives rushing between 140 schools of rural Morobe in the last minute" he said.
"I expect some problems with completing the delivery of the exam papers on time, so this is an advanced notice so please don't blame us for it."

Captain Ruh explained that upon arrival, the examination papers are usually packed into containers 10 days before the exam day, and his team start the delivery runs 3 days later, that's 7 days before the examination date.
"We've done 16 successful runs of exam papers over the 16 years since our establishment here, and we usually finish all deliveries two days early, because we give some space for any days that may have bad weather.
Now we are still waiting and the exam papers are not here yet, the National Education Department should answer for the late delivery to Morobe Province," Captain Ruh said.
NBC News is yet to receive official comments from the Morobe Provincial Education Board, regarding the arrival of the Grade eight examination papers.
