Simbu PHA revitalizes healthcare services with new fleet

The Simbu Provincial Health Authority [SiPHA] has taken a significant step towards enhancing healthcare delivery in the province through the addition of four new vehicles.

The official delivery ceremony, held yesterday to is a vital commitment in SiPHA's efforts to upgrade its transportation infrastructure.

SiPHA chief executive officer Dr. Kassi Ken emphasized the importance of accountability and responsible use of the new vehicles during the handover ceremony.

He said the the new vehicles, allocated to the Corporate Services, Curative, Nursing, and Public Health directorates, will play a crucial role in improving healthcare access and operational efficiency across the province.

"SiPHA is committed to ensuring the longevity and effectiveness of these valuable assets in serving the people of Simbu. SiPHA's aging fleet, which has been in service for nearly 15 years, will receive much-needed reinforcement, enabling the organization to better serve the community," Dr Ken said.

He said the expansion of SiPHA's fleet is a testament to the leadership's dedication to serving the community with integrity, foresight, and care.

Dr Ken said as the organization continues to grow and evolve, this development is expected to have a positive impact on healthcare services in Simbu.

"The new vehicles will enable SiPHA to respond more effectively to the needs of the community, ultimately contributing to improved health outcomes and a better quality of life for the people of Simbu", he said.

Rolex Ulka, the Officer-in-Charge of transport, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the board and management.

He attest that the current fleet has served the organization for nearly 15 years and acknowledged the immense value of the new additions.

He said the new vehicles symbolize a renewed commitment to improving healthcare access and operational efficiency.
