Several education infrastructure developments commissioned and opened in Simbu Province

The Simbu Provincial Government has officially opened several education infrastructures projects in the Sinesine Yongomulg and Kundiawa Gembogl districts.
The projects valued at K1.1 million per district were launched last year and completed within the set timeframe.
In Sinesine Yongolmulg district, the projects opened include two double classrooms at Ku High School, a girls' dormitory at Mai High School, a double classroom at Yobakogul Primary School, and a double classroom at Nebere Primary School.
In Kundiawa Gembogl district, the government opened one staff house at Kondom Augando Memorial High School, a staff house at St. Don Bosko Barengigl High School, and two staff houses at Kundiawa Lutheran Day Secondary School.

Noah Kool, the governor of Simbu, emphasized the importance of education in driving positive change in society.
He said having an educated population is the key to a nation's prosperity and assured continued investment in education under his leadership.
“The completion of these projects signifies the administration’s commitment, dedication, and honesty. I commend Kutna Bepwick, the principal education advisor, and all the schools for the great effort. this serves as a model for other sectors to emulate,’’ he said.
Jonathan Lukio, the Principal of Kundiawa Lutheran Day Secondary School on behalf of teachers, thanked the government for substantial investment in education infrastructure development in the province.
He said that due to the new education programs, many schools have been experiencing hardship in terms of resources and inastructure, stating that these developments will significantly improve the standard of education in the schools.
Lucy Gende from Ku High School also shared the same sentiment, stating that massive investment in education infrastructure demonstrates the government’s dedication to the children’s future.
She thanked the government for the initiatives and looks forward to similar collaboration in the future.
The Simbu Provincial Government with the Simbu Education Board will continue to open similar projects in other districts, including the Salt Nomane Karamui district today, followed by Kerowagi, Gumine and Chuave.
