CS recruitment to focus on health and fitness

The Acting Commissoner for Correctional Service [CS], Benard Nepo confirmed that there were two deaths in the last batch of CS recruitment and that has promoted the management to do a thorough screening especially with health and fitness.

The PNG Correctional Service is now looking at doing online recruitment with specific target on recent grade 12 graduands for that particular year.

He says, the recruitment division will no longer consider grade 12 leavers from previous years to avoid recruiting individuals beyond the required age.

Nepo says, the online recruitment process will give the opportunity to current grade 12 leavers passing out of schools to apply like all other higher learning institutions.
