Popondetta District donates K180,000 for LLG elections

Popondetta District yesterday presented a K180,000 cheque to the Northern Provincial Electoral Office to support polling and counting for the Local Level Government [LLG] elections scheduled for September 27, 2025.

Acting District CEO Paul Kamani handed over the cheque on behalf of Minister for Administrative Services and Popondetta MP Richard Masere.

Mr Kamani said the district fully supports the LLG election exercise and remains committed to assisting where necessary under Minister Masere’s leadership.

Provincial Election Manager Daisy Hombogani received the cheque in the presence of 11 Assistant Returning Officers representing the province’s 11 LLGs.

She thanked Minister Masere for the timely support, which she said would help the electoral office deliver the September elections.
