Elias Kapavore and Wake Goi take up Ministries of Health and Mining

The Marape - Rosso government today at Government House saw the swearing in of two new ministers.

Pomio MP Elias Kapavore takes over the reins of the health ministry from former minister and Wabag MP Dr Lino Tom who had resigned to join the Opposition, earlier this month.

Jimi MP Wake Goi takes on the Mining Ministry, after the national court declared the election of Kundiawa Gembogl MP Muguwa Dilu null and void and ordered for a recount.

Prime Minister James Marape when addressing the media expressed confidence in the experience and qualification of the two new ministers.

He adds, both Kapavore and Goi are not new to Cabinet having served as ministers before.

The total number of cabinet ministers stands at 39.
