State Agencies and St. Johns Ambulance receives Lae City Authority support

Lae’s National St John Ambulance Service, Public Solicitor and Fire Service have received funding and logistical support for their operations from Lae City Authority [LCA].
Deputy Prime Minister and Member for Lae John Rosso who is also the LCA Chairman presented the authority’s support to the respective heads of the organisations yesterday at the Lae Botanical Garden.
Mr Rosso issued a strong warning to the city residents to respect and look after important tax-funded public utilities such as National St John Ambulance and Public Solicitor with their committed workers so they can continue to serve the city and its people.
“Do not assault workers of Public Solicitor and St John Ambulance. Do not stone their life-saving vehicles. Do not steal from them. Do not attack them.
”You will need them when you are faced with medical issues or after committing a crime. If not you, your family members and friends will need their services one day.
“Show some respect, love and care towards them. They are human just like you. But are always giving their absolute best with limited resources to serve all of us in the city.
“Any suburb that doesn’t show respect towards the work of St John or Public Solicitor will not receive their services when they are in need. The entire suburb does not deserve these essential services.”
National St John Ambulance received an annual funding support of K500 000 while Public Solicitor and Fire Service received a vehicle each for their administration and operational duties.
