Opposition Members at Crown Camp have officially informed the nation that the submission of court documents to recall parliament has not yet been lodged.

A group of Opposition members, which includes former prime minister and Ialibu Pangia MP Peter O'Neill, held a press conference this afternoon in Port Moresby.

Representing the group, Provincial Member for West New Britain, Sasindran Muthuvel, along with other Opposition members, reiterated this statement.

"The court case is of National importance and I do believe we even file cases on Sundays because it's of national importance.

"And we just received confirmation from the lawyers for the need to go through and verify all the video recordings on Wednesday's Parliament sitting.

"We don't want to rush and make mistakes, we are hoping that we should be able to file it by today, tomorrow [Saturday] or before Sunday, we are not in a rush," Muthuvel said.
