Close to 1000 students in West Sepik sit for Written Expression Exam

Grade 10 students from West Sepik joined other grade 10's throughout the country to sit for the National Written Expression exam today.
Around one thousand students from 15 high and secondary schools sat for the exam in the province.
Felix Naguru the Provincial examination supervisor said all the 15 schools received their exam papers a week ago while Vanimo and Don Bosco secondary received theirs on Wednesday.
Mr. Naguru said West Sepik has a good record of upholding the examination with integrity and denied any form of cheating by students.
He added that there would not be any case relating to cheating.
Mr. Naguru also highlighted the challenges faced in bringing the exam papers to schools in the remote districts like Telefomin.
He said road conditions and network coverage are some of the costs faced by the education division in the province when transporting exam papers to schools.
At least 9 students from Telefomin district joined Don Bosco Technical secondary school to sit for their exam today.
The exam papers will be sent to Port Moresby for marking.
